Flavors & Sustainable Innovations
Flavors: The mooncakes combined traditional and innovative options. Classic choices included lava egg custard and matcha lava, while new additions featured coconut latte lava and cheese-ham fillings, catering to diverse tastes. Sustainability: Aligning with UNNC’s commitment to sustainable development, the packaging adopted eco-friendly measures: simplified decorations with hot stamping (replacing large-area inkjet printing to reduce pollution); a plug-in structure that converts 3D packaging to 2D, cutting down on chemical adhesives and saving transportation space; and reduced packaging layers/gaps to avoid over-packaging
Creative Design & Cultural Connotations
The design drew inspiration from classic Chinese Mid-Autumn poems like "May we all be blessed with longevity; though far apart, we still share the beauty of the moon together" and "The moon rises above the sea; all mankind share this moment".
